My first and probably last attempt at poetry. I think it's about capoeira.

They danced like fire

Tiring not as they licked through trees

Inspiring short, harsh winds that

Free floated, flowing from

Shadow to shadow,

Laughing as their faces

Half hidden

Tricked in the world unseen

That sometimes between

Those short breaths

Towers, sometimes between

Those short breaths

Transcends soul's boundaries

In smoke forms on breaths and winds

The sparks that collided only half the time

But in collision they changed and burst out fire

Like the songs that hummed in them and out of them

And in those collisions were the moments of

DANGER

For fire falling furiously

On dry trees leads only to holocaust, burned out souls, shells

And in those collisions were the moments of

ECSTASY

But quickly born away by their own breath they leapt to the sides and lit the shadows that they fell out of with their graceful dancing that followed the smoky paths that they themselves created that they themselves gave rise to in their moments of collision in their moments of ecstasy moments of danger in their dancing like

Fire.
