The Evolution of Love

In the beginning, the Sun grew amongst many of His kind throughout the galaxy. Although distant from other celestial bodies, the Sun was not alone. His neighbors consisted of many planets and asteroids that had formed and encircled Him. As time inexorably past, the Sun remained indifferent to the other planetoids, because balls of lifeless rock and gas were of no concern to Him. However, one such planet was so fascinating to Him that She conjured a strong attraction and fascination. Her name was Earth. Amongst Her molten volcanoes and small amounts of liquid water, She had small creatures forming on Her, creatures that grew from Her molten rock.

The Earth was proud of Her creations that thrived in Her oceans. As time went on, the little creates grew in size and shape, thriving in their own little world. The Sun, for reasons He could not explain, felt compelled to help the Earth raise these little creatures. The Earth happily accepted His help.

The Sun gave the little creatures warmth and light to see by, and the Earth gave them water and food. Together, They felt united to nurture creatures.

Throughout the millennia, Earth and her children were modified with the changing times. Some became plants that, with the aid of the Sun, created an atmosphere to allow faunal life to live on land. With each reworked forms and improvements, the Earth and Sun were amazed as the creatures diversified and changed. They rejoiced with every new creation that came to be and wept when others vanished into oblivion.

While the countless eons meant nothing to Them, it mattered to the creatures that lived on Earth who died and were replaced by future generations. One day, some new creatures took their turn at life. They were bipedal little things that possessed the ability to use tools. They also had a language, something the Sun and Earth had never seen before. For so long, the creatures were just something for the Earth and Sun to protect and care for. But these two-legged beings piqued their interest like never before.

What fascinated Them was that these bipeds had something nothing else before had: a language. All the Earth and Sun knew was feelings, yet for the first time, those same feelings could be defined and classified. While They could not speak, They at least knew the word.

From then on, They were forever connected by this strange phenomenon called "Love."
