You've placed the stones upon my back...but I've carried them for much longer and removed them a long time ago.

Thank You to the Generation

-

Because you are older, you say you're more experienced

Because you are older, you say you're more mature

Because you are older, everything you say and do is the right way to do say and do

Have you even once slowed down in your fast-paced life?

To consider what you've done, what you're doing now, or even after that…what will you do with what you've been given?

-

An empty heart is still a vessel that's useful when it's not used.

I used to want such a heart that wasn't one at all-except to pound…

Each time would slowly remind me of how slow and hellish my life was…breaking me down to the point …

To where nothing mattered anymore

That's what I realized, even at that time

-

No matter how many times I replay the scenes of that day in head

I wouldn't want them to change

Because weakness has become strength to carry me forward

I'm living thanks to something bigger than myself now.

-

No.

I am living for myself so that I can live for the people I love.

That's it.

That's all I want.

-

Because you are older, you say you have everything.

But tell me; are you truly happy right now?
