Angelic Scar

These scars, though set in yesterday still here

Like satin stains on such pale velvet skin

So these secrets set in sad stone appear

Secrets sung of each white angel's black sin

Red burns on magic's pure embodiment

Such a sorrowful song each seraph sings

Thirteen unlucky angels in ascent

Such a saddening song each new scar brings

White flowers together withered and worn

Beauty so deadly was their final fall

From a pure egg, each angel is reborn

Flying once more, flying free, standing tall

Only to repeat the same folly and scar

Falling feathers, burning seen from afar
