I went down by the water

Something in the sand

Well, on it, more like
As it struggled to serve life

In its grand darwinian way
It dealt with change as a means of progress
Hover on vapour
Counsel the courtesy of a fallen king

There was truth and logic in all that religion and science
Despite what some disbelieve
This fissure in thought revealed
The way things are

I stand a child looking over the railing
Toward the water, smile
