What am I?

I am my parents,

I am my brothers and my sisters,

I am my entire family.

I am my friends,

And my enemies.

I am the friends who have stuck with me all these years,

And the ones who dropped me at the first sign of trouble.

I am all the people I have ever known,

And all the ones I have yet to get to know.

I am all the people I have ever kissed,

And all the people I have yet to kiss.

I am all the people I have ever lived with,

And everything that they brought to that experience.

I am the teacher who failed me,

And the teacher who spurred me on.

I am all the places I have ever been,

And all the places I will ever go.

I am all the experiences I have ever had,

The good and the bad,

And I am all the experiences I will have.

I am all of these things,

Because they made me who I am,

And who I will become!
