Let it Go

Learn to let go

Learn to be

A part of something

A part of me.

Far away or closer still;

Tear drops upon my window sill.

I want you near

He wants you there.

Far away,

I know not where.

I let you go but still hold tight;

Can't let go without a fight.

No one sees

The tears I cry,

In sorrow,

As alone I lie.

I only smile when it rains;

Small mirrors of my pain.

I won't forget

The honesty,

The brutal truths,

And sincerity.

I won't forget how much you cared,

Or the special love we shared.
