Dear diary,

School starts again today, summer went by way to fast. I guess spending the two weeks with Lachie in his Florida house went quicker than I thought. His family are great; they're fun and very nice. I woke up every morning to the sun flooding through the curtains and the smell of the beach flowing in through the windows. Spending every day at the beach was amazing, feeling the sand between my toes, the wind gushing past my face, and seeing Lachie smiling at me. I worked out that I want to spend the rest of my life with him, no matter where he wants to live.

It will be good to see my friends again –haven't seen them since the last day of school, not looking forward to the thrashing I'm going to get for not doing the assignments we were issued over summer break though (I blame Lachie). Ms. Henderson is going to have my head on a platter when it comes to report time. All well, the happiness from the last two weeks will block out the worry about the days that will come at school.
