And here's how I felt
When you told us this
Please give me my say
Before I fall and decay.

First of all…

It struck me hard
I sat stock still
With denial in mind
And thoughts to kill.

Secondly…

I wished you were only joking
While fighting back tears
Never wanted to hear you hint
At my biggest fear.

Third…

You laughed and joked
While I died inside
Everyone was so clueless
While inside I cried.

Fourthly…

Anger for myself arose
I had waited too long
Even though if I thought there was a chance
I knew I would be wrong.

Finally…

I suppose I should've seen it coming
It was an inevitable outcome
I guess I was just hoping to find
That I had a little more time.
