It was early when I woke up. I wouldn't have woken up, except that when I rolled over, expecting to snuggle into Stone's warm body, I was met with the harsh reality. I was alone.

I sighed and rolled back over. I cuddled under the blankets, trying to get comfortable again. But I couldn't; I got up and went downstairs. Putting pants on wasn't a big deal, his house was more than warm enough. He wasn't in the kitchen, like he always had been before. But there was almost a full pot of coffee made, so that's where I headed. I got coffee and poured myself a bowl of cereal, then sat at the counter and ate it.

There was no sign of Stone at all. I didn't hear him inside the house, I never saw his truck in the driveway.

I put my dishes in the dishwasher and put the milk back in the fridge.

I was then struck with an idea. I pulled out the already sliced strawberries and chocolate syrup. I got the bag of M&Ms I'd seen hiding behind the cereal and went back upstairs to his room, leaving a trail of M&Ms from the front door, through the living room, up the stairs, down the hallway, and leading right up to his bed.

It took a little doing, but in about twenty minutes, I was on his bed, naked, and covered in two kinds of chocolate and strawberries.

Then I sent a text message to Stone telling him that I needed him, and to hurry because it was an emergency. Here's hoping I didn't scare him too much.

Only about ten minutes later, I heard his truck pull into the driveway. The gravel crunching beneath his feet gave me chills.

I heard the door shut, followed by a, "Callie?! Where are you?!"

"Follow the M&Ms!" I yelled back. Duh.

I could barely keep from giggling as I heard the clomp of his boots on the hardwood floor. I could practically feel him getting closer. His footsteps got lighter and lighter as he reached the carpet at the top of the stairs.

Then he was at the door, "What are you-" he pushed the door open and his eyes got wide when he saw me.

"Hi," I grinned.

"Hi…what…the…how did you…Cal…" He started walking towards the bed, "You know I have to work,"

"All work and no play makes Stone a very dull boy."

He didn't say anything, just took off his hat, boots, and socks, staring at me the whole time.

I was a little self-consious. But obviously, he wasn't complaining.

"Gonna take a break, then?" I asked.

"Well I can't exactly leave you all covered in chocolate, now can I?" he grinned, taking off his shirt.

"No, I guess not." I smiled, "My grandmother gets undressed faster than you do. Hurry it up, cowboy."

"I'm hurrying, I'm hurrying," he said, he bent down and kissed me. It was surprisingly chaste considering how much clothing I wasn't wearing, "Slave driver."

"Not yet…but that could be arranged."

He just laughed, finished getting undressed, and got on the bed with me, putting his torso between my legs.

His tongue connected with my stomach, his eyes glued to mine. I'd almost underestimated the way it'd make me feel to have him lick the chocolate off of me. My eyes closed, my head rolled back, my back arched.

Then there was this whoosh of cool air over the areas he'd been touching.

"Okay. Add chocolate sex to the list of things we have to do again,"

I laughed, "Okay. I'll do that." Pretty sure that that list only consisted of 'sex and chocolate sex'. But that was just fine with me. I liked both of those things. "So. You're not upset that I interrupted your work, then?" I kissed him once.

"Not in the slightest." He smiled, "Just don't make it a regular thing."

"Aw," I pouted, "Don't your men know what to do without you telling them all the time?"

"Yeah, but it looks bad if I'm always running off."

I shrugged, kissing his chest, "I guess." I sighed, "I should go back to my grandparents house. You know. Spend time with my family."

"If you have to…" he said.

"I do."

"Take a shower first."

"Yeah, like I'm going to go home your co-"

"Yeah, got it."

I rolled my eyes, "Come join me in the shower?"

"Sure, babe," he smiled.

We both went into his bathroom. We didn't do much but shower; we both had things to do.

I dried off and got dressed, kissed Stone goodbye and promised to come back over later, then left him to get back to work.

My dad and grandparents were gone when I got back, so I just went upstairs to my room. I contemplated just taking all of my stuff over to Stone's place and leaving a note to tell my family that I'd simply gone to stay with Stone, but I'd be back to visit. However, the daughter and granddaughter in me told me that they deserved more consideration than that. It royally sucked.

But I was more than happy that I was only about five miles from Stone. I could be with him whenever I wanted.

It also helped that I figured that I had a fairly good shot at convincing my parents to let me move up here to finish the school year and stay the summer. The summer might be a stretch, but I was sure as hell going to try my hardest to make both of them happen.

I sat up in my room and read my book until my family got home, at which time I went downstairs.

"There she is," my grandfather said, "We were beginning to think we wouldn't see you at all."

"Oh, I tried my hardest, Grandpa," I smiled, hugging him, "Where were you guys? I've been home for like two hours."

My dad shrugged, "Drove into town this morning. Your Grandma had some shopping to do. Thought we'd all have dinner together tonight."

"I see. Cool."

"Oh, your boyfriend called me earlier." He said.

I raised an eyebrow at him, "Oh he did, did he?"

"Yup. Wants to talk. He's not gonna tell me that you're pregnant, right?"

I rolled my eyes, "If I was pregnant, Dad, you'd have learned about it long before now."

"Good."

"So…you'll talk to him, then?"

"Sure. I'll listen to what he has to say,"

"Thanks," I smiled, "You'll really like him, Dad. I know you will."

"Yeah. I hope so."
