Once in a Blue Moon, Twice for a Midnight Sun

In his teens, he really stood apart, with humour and how he was clothed;

And (though innocent of wrong or harm) became the one that Someone loathed.

So that Someone joined with other folks, to label him a proper loon.

So he took a soubriquet for his uniqueness, and became Blue Moon.

He continued wearing fashion styles, which recent years had bid adieu,

And concealed his deeper messages in lines containing codes and clue.

He was pressed (when trying to share those words) to check the limits first, then click

His acceptance (right from K to M), but did his best to use each trick.

Though quite young, another had been hurt by things, that 'boy' or 'boys' had done.
But instead of turning bitter, she let light define her:- Midnight Sun.

With her own cognomen, she could mold her painful memories into art,

Which would give the world more precious words, by harnessing a wounded heart.

Though her second mother tried to force feed Heaven's light right down her throat,

She was open to the milder message, which would follow Noah's boat;

If that message came by Blue Moon's light, in one place where the common press

Of the Blue Moon and the Midnight Sun were published at the same address.

By coincidence, or God's design, Earth's history chose to duplicate

Use of Sun & Moon identities, to rise from pain and discount hate.

Two celestial personas found a kinship in each other's script.

When they sought their separate soul mates, each was now improved and well equipped.

These are Pete's and Aubrie's parallels, which other planets can perceive

With varieties of understanding. Moon has more tricks up his sleeve,

Which may paint the world around him blue; while younger Sun will once more shine,

Thought it's midnight. Just imagine that. This inspiration sounds divine.
