A/n: Hello! Hello! It's me Orbitz here with a new story already. I'm so glad that Another Love song was a big hit. Anyway this is one of two new stories that I am forming. I'm getting rid of Witness Protection, I shouldn't of remade it and I kind of accidently deleted the document I was using for it. So anyway R&R

Jumping over a tall old log, a young girl could feel the pain in her heart clearly. Her eyes cried salty tears, from both the stinging of the cool air and the pain deep inside her heart. This pain, the girl knew would never go away, despite her young age.

Dashes of green and brown quickly passed her as she ran as if her life depended on it. At the moment, the young child believed her life did depend on it. She had to get to her destination, no matter how many scrapes or scratches she would get along the way.

Carina, the young girl, was running to her secret place. A place where only she knew of, or so she thought. This place was very well known to her. She had come upon this place when she was taking a stroll to get away from reality, to go exploring.

It was in the middle of the woods behind her house, past the old climbing tree and big rock that had so much spray paint that you could barely tell what was the start and finish of a word. Then again, most of the words would require a lot of soap for you to wash your mouth out after words. It was a big open area, a meadow if you will, on the border of one side was a small brook that Carina had used multiple times to dip her feet in.

Inside this meadow Carina had often escaped to get away from things, school and its bullies, to reflect on the day, to get away from her parents. Something she had no longer had the privilege of. She had come her to laugh, remember, and make memories. And occasionally to cry. This was one of those moments.

You see something terrible happened. While driving home from a meeting, Carina's parents were involved in a deadly car accident. A drunk driver had ran through a red light and hit their car. The mother and father were killed instantly and painless, the driver who cause the accident had manage to get away with a broken bone or two. When Carina heard the news she ran, ran outside to her secret place to be alone.

Yes, she was now alone in this horrid and cruel world. No parents, no family, no nothing. Something that no one could ever deal with, especially a six year old girl.

Finally, Carina had arrived exactly where she wanted to be. In the middle of the meadow. Her body slumped down to her knees. Her small hands went to her locket that hung around her neck. It was her father's own invention. A locket that whenever you opened it played music, like a music box. It was a gold heart with a rose engraved on the front. Inside was a picture of her parents when they were young. They were best friends and fell in love when they were older. On the back of the locket was words engraved by her father, a wise message that would last her a life time. It read:

To our precious Carina,

Remember, in time comes love.

Love Mom and Dad

The girl couldn't hold back anymore. She cried loud, the loudest she had ever cried before. Her throat started to get sore but the young girl didn't care, she would cried as much as her little heart desired. No one would here her, there were no house anywhere nearby. No matter how loud or long Carina would cry no one would even know. No one would even hear her.

Suddenly arms wrapped around the small girl. At first the child thought it was both of her parent's hugs combined into one. Her father's strong grip and yet her mother's gentle touch. But the six year old quickly caught on. Her red and puffy hazel eyes looked up to see a boy with black hair and clear blue eyes that were almost as clear as ice. He was probably only a year or two older than her.

The boy's grip tightened as the girl looked up at him. His hands went through her long blond hair. "Sh… It'll be okay." The boy told her calmly. His voice made the young girl calm down a bit. Though the girl didn't believe him. He let her cry into him, trying to sooth her by stroking her back and kissing her forehead ever so softly.

Finally Carina calmed down and it was time for the boy to get back. He told her good bye and that they would meet once again. He seemed so sure of it. Carina couldn't tell why he was so sure but he was. Maybe they would meet again. Maybe in on of the little coincidences of life. Or maybe they would just past each other on the road or in a building, where they wouldn't even acknowledge the other. Or maybe they would never meet again. Only time would unfold the secrets. Only time would tell.
