Bittersweet Joy
I love my hysteria, my bitterness
is an unsolved mystery that will
probably be history. I love my
bittersweet joy because it is as strong
as a boy creating a bonfire inside
of me. Prideful, I will never fall down
before you and give you my crown.
You may frown and claim me to be a clown
but I will never drown myself in a river of
tears for your sake. I wish you would open
your eyes to acknowledge my self destructive
behavior.
