A/N: For those of you who read my Harry Potter fics, don't worry! I wrote this poem a long time ago--it's not taking away from time that I spend on my HP fics! I promise! I just felt like posting some of my orginal poetry! This one is about James Dean. Let me know what you think :)

Peace,
Prongs

Disclaimer: Ummm, do you need one with original poetry? I'm so used to posting HP stuff...well, I wrote this, so it's mine :)

A Shooting Star

Like a fabulous full moon,
You were gone too soon.
Like a star soaring in the sky,
You faded away and said bye.

When you first appeared on the screen,
We had never heard of James Dean.
When you died in 1955,
We couldn't believe that you weren't alive.

Your ability to inspire a generation,
To so many, you were an inspiration.
Your amazing on and off screen intensity,
To act was obviously your propensity.

I believe that you were a shooting star.
That fateful day your body died in a car.
But your spirit and soul will forever survive,
Through eternity, your legend will continue to thrive.
