"Black Rapture,"

-

Once again, the silence's hold will crush my heart into the wind

I crave the opening of the wound,

(My savored sweet)

And for the essence of you

To burn beneath flesh and bone sweet

-

It is the way I have chosen to live

Warmth so familiar in its distance

For a second longer pulls me in

Hurts me….

Consumes me…

Reject me…

It dazzled me…

-

The sun burns as it goes down

It swallows all of me

Blindingly embracing the rapture

Of my reckless, necessary greed

-

Starlight night betrays me with brilliance
