Of blood red lips,
A black lie slips,
Your hand's so cold,
I'm forgiven once more,
(Or so I've been told.)
Red wine gleams,
In a blackened night sky,
A glassy sheen passes
Over your eye,
But neither of us,
Have yet said goodbye.
Black fingernails leave crimson trails on my skin,
Shadows are cast even though it is dim,
A kiss and a touch,
A mistake and a trick,
Yet another white lie has slipped.
Invisible trails are on my cheek,
From my hand blood does leak,
A black rose is dropped,
Upon the ending dawn,
You are not lost,
Nor forgotten.
A rose red sunset,
A blackened night sky,
An early white morning,
And another new day,
Is dawning.
I love you,
And you loved me,
I need you here,
For I am ever so lonely,
My walls crumble,
Jack and Jill take a tumble,
Watch me wither and waste away,
While you walk away.

.
(But why can't you stay?)
