This was published in my local newspaper, um...Minot Daily News, if I remember right. It might not exactly sound "politically correct" these days, but I was only in the sixth grade when I wrote it.

The scary part is that I remember the poem, verbatim.

We have a fat cat named Pat.
Pat was such a very fat cat.
One day, Pat got so fat,
that when Pat sat,
Pat had to stay where Pat was at.
Pat is such a very fat cat.

Like I said, sixth grade.
