Chapter Four

I felt the sun sparkle my eyes. I heard the birds chirping away on this sunny morning. I groaned as I felt the cold air hit my legs, I had slept over the blanket, not actually in it. With a book to be precise. I must of fell asleep while reading it, with my clothes on too, eww. I really needed a bath. Moving my toes around I jumped to the floor and went into the ensuite bathroom that was next door. It was pretty big for an en suite but thats what was so great about it. There was a hot tub and shower both combined and then the toilet had it's own personal room again. If this was pretty all glam and exspensive I wondered what Eric and Cecelia's bathrom was like. I took a quick shower, cleaning my self fully clean, since my hair hadn't been washed in four days now, it was very greasy. Then hopped out and pulled on some pants and a baggy rock madonna t-shirt. I didn't do much with my hair but put it up high in a pony.

It was when I was applying my makeup that I heard someone knock on the door.

"Come in," I called. Clearing everything into my bag.

"Sorry if I was disturbing you in anyway. But Miss Pecan asked me to see if you were coming down soon, since their going to go play golf. An excellent choice if I must say so myself," Daisy grinned greatiously.

"Sure. Yeah, hold on a sec. And honestly you think golf excellent? Honestly I hate the sport myself, it must be a british thing," I said, looking around for my shoes.

"Okay. I'll be truthful, the sport is very hard and confusing and very boring but I guess if Miss Pecan and Mr Elijahson love it, then whats not to love right?" I smiled, I knew I wernt the only one hating the sport. The more I was talking to Daisy the more I could probably get her to speak her own opinon. Since at the moment it looked like she was a talking robot for everyone living here, just agreeing to their rules.

"I suppose, dosen't mean I want to play it though," I muttered, pulling my shoes on and following her out the room.

"Certainly right there!" She said, leaving me to attend to Cecelia. She caught my figure and came running up to me. Her hair was in a bun and she had an hat on, covering some of her forhead, she was also wearing a pink plain shirt that went with her checked skirt. She looked like your typical golf player, yet jazzed up a little to suit her.

"Violet. Yay your up! We didn't think you would be up yet. Enrique said you're a late sleeper." Was a late sleeper was the term. Since Eric and I had grown apart and he moved over here, I had a regular routine of getting up early every morning now. It was ten o clock, I considered this late for me.

"Well I'm up. Sorry I'm not dressed to fit. I'm new to all this." She shook her head, pulling me outside anyway.

"Who cares? At least your playing the game, that's all we wanted." We carried on talking a little while longer, while we walked up the steady path that was a ten minute walk, until we go to the golf ground. It was huge, I had never seen so much land in my life. "Oh look, there's Enrique." She pointed out. He was currently occupied helping set up. He was wearing a light blue polo shirt with a dark blue checked jumper covering it and white pants and he himself was wearing a white golf hat, his hair just about poking out. He looked beautiful. Espcially with his light tan he had managed to have all his life. I felt my stomach sink and kept on smiling anyway and watched as Cecelia jumped over to him, she grinned when he wrapped his arms around her. They looked so cute, that it hurt. I kept remembering that he wasn't mine and never would be. Once they pulled back he noticed I was there and gave me a warm smile, I tried to smile back and walked up to them.

"Hey," he said.

"Hey," I replied, my eyes focusing everywhere but on his eyes. You see he had this gaze in his eyes all the time. And if you looked up into his dark chocolate orbs it was like you was casted in a spell and would fall for him. Maybe thats how Cecelia did it?

"Here's your golf club," he said, passing me the stick. I took it and stood to the edge. There was around eight of us playing. There was me, Cecelia, Enrique, Gerald then two friends of Cecelia's and two friends of Eric's. They all seemed friendly but deffinetly way out of my league, you could already tell by the make of the brand they were wearing.

"So we all know how to play okay?" Cecelia asked us all. Everyone nodded and agreed, I just looked like I knew what I was doing when I had no idea how to play. "Good. So Enrique considering your the man you can go first. And I'll go last," She said, telling the rest of us what number we were going in. It turned out I was seventh to go, one before Cecelia. I didn't mind too much though, since I didn't really want to play anyway.

Enrique went over the field and placed his golf ball on the ground. He postined his club and then swung so hard you saw the ball go very high into the sky. It plopped straight into the hole and everyone clapped and cheered.

"Hunny you were amazing! You've never potted it, in a single shot before have you?" Cecelia gushed, running over to him. His two friends, Phillip and John both patted him on the back aswell.

"Welldone mate, you did fanatastic. Imagine if the paps saw that, they would tell you to go pro," his friend John gushed. Eric didn't boost about getting a single shot though he just shrugged his shoulders and grinned.

"Thanks, it's the power within this club," he pointed to the club and sat back down waiting for the next person to go. They all took turns going, all of them got the pot in less than four goes, they were really good. It was when they pointed out it was my go that my belly started to flop.

"Erm sure," I muttered walking up to the golf club and ball. I stood there trying to hold it straight, but this was one sport I had never played before. One of many, actually. This was something Eric himself knew. I was fiddling with it for a few seconds when I felt someone place there hands above mine, directing me where to hit it. I looked up, finding Eric's face there. I pulled his hand off of me.

"Please, get off me. I can do this," I groaned, everyone was laughing thinking I was joking. But they didn't realise I was being serious.

"I'm just helping you Violet," his innocent voice called.

"I don't care," I barked back, pushing him back over to the side where everyone else was. He walked back over to Cecelia, who he then put his arms around.

The image stuck in my mind because the next thing I knew I was wacking the club as hard as I could into the golf ball, which then landed into the lake beneath the grass. I heard the splash and couldn't help but think it was a stupid idea for playing this game. I walked back to the side where everyone was already knowing I had come last out the lot of them. I stumped over to the grass and sat down like I didn't care.

"Aww I'm so sorry you came last," called Cecelia, patting my back. "If it makes it any better, I'm usually the one near last when it comes to the game and I enjoy this sport aswell." I knew she was only trying to lighten the mood a bit, but it didn't help her jerky fiancee trying to help me out. I blame it on him for me loosing, else I would of come first. Deffinetly.

"Don't worry about it. I wasn't focusing much. Besides this is one of my weak sports," I grinned, squinting to look up before me. Everyone was chatting and talking for a bit well not really me, just agreeing with there agreements with how there lovely boyfriends were buying them something that cost more then my year allowence. When Cecelia had decided it was time to pack up.

"Hey were going to lunch soon. At this really neat place, not far from here. Wanna come?" she asked. I decided golf was enough today, I couldn't deal with any more gloat and glory from them all.

"I think I'm going to sit this one out Cecelia. Thanks for the offer though. But I'm stoked, think I'm going to go and phone up my friends and that then probably catch up on a bit of sleep. If you don't mind." She frowned a little at my decision but nodded in agreement anyway.

I waved them all off when they went to lunch the other way. Her friends said goodbye and one of Erics friends even asked to go somewhere with them tonight, I told them I would think about it and then Eric just gave me a small smile before he left with them too.

It was when I went back to my room that I felt someone pull me by the back into an empty room..

NOTE: Aren't I nice for updating, sorry I haven't been. The weathers been beautiful outside and my fictionpress has been playing up. As you can see from this chapter- Violet is a sore loser, she hates losing. And Eric's been awfully quiet at the moment. Hmm - we will see how it plays out. Review's are amazing. Btw guys what other story of mine have you been reading, because I'm not sure on what other story to update.
