You watch me drown

In my miseries

And you say nothing of it

You merely walk away

And pretend that

Nothing ever happened

You make yourself believe

That you live in a perfect world

Where no one suffers,

No one gets hurt

Well guess what buddy?

Your world is fake,

As much as you wish it was real

You could never make

It into reality.

While you're in your pretty world

I'm suffering right in front of you

What are you going to do,

Just sit there and stare at me

As I'm burning into cinders

Or hose me off with water,

And lend me a helping hand?

Are you going to watch me crumble

Into cinders right in front of you

While you're off dreaming

Of a different world,

Unlike our own?

Do you think that it's right?

To leave your friend standing there,

Burning through the night?

If you do,

Then I don't know you

Anymore,

If you could just ignore

Me, and not care

About my health affair

Like I said in the beginning,

You just watch me drown

In my miseries

And you would pretend

You never saw anything

As if it was just your imagination

Playing tricks on you.
