The Truth

Every time you ask me the same question;

Are you all right?

Every time the same answer slips from my mouth;

I'm fine.

Lie! Lie! Lie!

Always the same lies!

It never stops.

I won't allow it.

Concern floods your face in an instant.

I give you the reassurance you seek.

Honestly, I am fine.

Again, the same lie!

I can't stop.

Searching. Always searching for some truth.

I refuse to let you in.

Silence.

There is nothing inside.

Nothing.

You looked past the lies.

Deal with it.

I do.

Leave me alone!

It is none of your business!

Since when did you care?

You hated me!

Back off!

You want the truth. No lies.

You demanded that you hear the truth.

I hope you are ready...
