This morning (or should I say early afternoon?)

I found myself with an ache that did not belong

This ordeal greatly confused me

So, I thought perhaps it was hunger

And made some oatmeal

When it stayed I checked my body for bruises but

I couldn't find a single marking

It was a fever, perhaps

Or some rare sort of liver disease

But when getting an expert opinion the term "hypochondria" replaced these theories

Therefore I gave up and went home

And you were still in my bed.
