Father, Father, how are you?
Please ask me how I am too
I need to speak, I need a hug
Life's not the same without your love
No more hugs and no more smiles
I'm a teenager, but still your child
We always fight and rarely laugh
We're heading down an empty path
I still love you and always will
And I know that you love me still
It's not something I want to do
To start I fight with Mum or you
I want to laugh and smile again
Please tell me how, where or when?
Maybe one day we'll be better
When we're out of this cloudy weather
Until then I hope you know
I will never let you go
You're my dad and I love you
I'm your girl, you know that's true
I know we'll be better, I see it soon
Just remember, I love you.
