I wish my life could stay consistent.
At least for a while.
The roller coaster emotions
Of those around me
Leave me screaming.
Breathless.
To be happy would be too much,
For I am trapped
On this fluctuating ride.
Screeching to a halt,
The ride stops.
My heart flutters,
My adrenaline races.
How much longer,
Before I hit the bottom?
....
Again.
