Preaching Without Practice

I'm so tired
of having tolerance preached to me
by men with none of their own.
Acceptance is a street that goes both ways.
If you want to be loved
despite our beliefs
then you have to love others
regardless of their differences.
So don't tell you're not being heard
when you've got your fingers
plugging your ears.
Because there's nothing more frustrating
than attempting conversation
with someone who won't see their own hypocrisy.
