i don't think i'll ever quite understand why teenagers make sex such a big deal.
to have jokes aimed at you for being a virgin is really bitchy, in my opinion. how can you make fun of someone for being celibate? i won't be the one getting pregnant or smacked in the face with an STD and i don't be the one getting hurt when the guy leaves me right afterwards because getting laid was all he really wanted.
and if that's worth making fun of, then by all means, i will let them have their fun.
