Myra Dawson was one of the very few people in the United States to survive the flood of 2077. At age seventeen she has been running from what used to be civilization with a few of her select classmates that were able to survive the floods due to bold leadership taken by her best friend's closest guy friend, Lenny. Those who made it as far as what was once the State of Oklahoma are now living in harmony with the Cherokee nation. Unfortunately, a select few of the generation before her can't let go of what was once the civilization they had helped to make and plan to reconstruct the unsustainable lifestyle that brought them the environmental retaliation. Knowing that they will have to wipe out the Cherokee and younger generation before-hand they prepare for war. The fate of Earth's sustainability lies in the hands of seemingly inferior breeds of people. Survival of the fittest takes full effect.
