There's a lot of things we can't fix--
so many things that are downright impossible to mend.
But what is reparable--
These wide fissures, these rugged boulders--
These simple cracks, these small pebbles--
Will be smoothed over.

I'm never going to forget,
and what is lost may never be regained,
but I accept that.
I will laugh, play, and enjoy,
for myself, pour mes amis, and for the sake of a life.

There is happiness in this crooked world.
We just have to find it.
