Climb the walls of slippery ignorance so that you can claw at the noise, the silence, the unknown bliss within that you abandoned by closing the door and drawing a lock with permanent marker.

Relearn to learn, remember how to be taught to crack a grin so wide it frightens the apples out of any passing strangers' cheeks. Meanwhile, you reminisce of heat waves and key chains and all things lovely that remind you of that musky scent that smells of lab safety goggles.

That thumping organ clots and pumps and threatens to explode and implode into the abstract masterpiece that it is meant to be, but you will not let it. You pinch with your silly words just one corner of flesh; your hold too strong for me to pull away but you cannot lift me from this falling paper airplane either.

One cannot begin to grasp the web of lies that the days of yore have spun, the sight of fertilizer no longer a comfort to my senses, a heavy load slung over the shoulder keeps me rooted to this insanity that is my reality.
