Reunion

It is another day, Anna woke up from her beauty sleep and rubbed her sleepy eyes. "Morning again." She muttered as she looked outside the window. She sighed and immediately went to the bathroom and changed her usual attire. She immediately shut the door and leaved for the clan meeting.

Main hall

The Katakura vampire hunters gathered on the wide room. Kazuhiko, the young man with an eyepatch leaning against the wall with a bored look on his good looking face, he just listened to the other clan member's discussion.

"Hey have you heard? That man has return from his dangerous mission given to him by the higher ups." The a random vampire hunter told his co members.

"Really? As expected of him. He is one of the deadliest vampire hunters around and he is the most intimidating." The other one said.

Kazuhiko smirks at them, he knew what they were talking about. So he is return from the hell he came from.

He glance at his right and saw a certain 12 year old lad beside his mother, it's not obvious that he's a mama's boy but he couldn't care less.

He smirk yet again, in one of the crowds; he saw a certain brunette girl approaching him. "Ohayo…Anna-chan" he teased her, Anna frown at him and decides to ignore his flirting.

"What is going on here?" she asked the young man with an eye patch.

Kazuhiko paused for awhile and sigh. "Well…according to the intelligence report, the vampire councils create a pretty experiment that regards on creating insane vampire breeding army to strike against our clan or perhaps destroying the humans." He explained. Anna froze at the information from her fellow comrade. She had encounter group of vampire breeds few months ago and luckily she eliminate them all but what surprises is that those filthy vampires create some kind of army.

Are they really serious to eliminate her clan and the humans that much? They have become the supreme beings in the surface of the earth so why?

She clenched her fist, why are those vampires treating them like this? All of them wants a normal life but why?

Kazuhiko stare at her trembling form, he could see her hatred on her amethyst eyes. Those eyes that he have never seen before ever since they were children.

"Anna, you finally reveal your true nature." He thought. The young man sighed and placed his hand on Anna's shoulder.

He smiles, "Don't worry about that. I'm sure there might be a way." He told her, Anna surprised and just nod at him.

"Hai…Arigatou.." she puts a small genuine smile at the young vampire hunter. Kazuhiko flushes lightly, "Don't worry about it and by the way…" He regain his normal self, "That man has return which is why we are gathering here in the hall." He told her.

"Who?" she asked confusingly.

He sighed, "The man I'm referring to is…" his sentence stop as the door opens and revealed a very beautiful and intimidating man. He is in a mid-20s with a silver long hair tied with a low ponytail, cold purple eyes, pale skin and a tall-skinny mascular build. He wears long maroon jacket that covered his bandages around his stomach that shows his chest and has a silver cross necklace and a top hat on his head.

Murmurs around the room as the members flinches seeing the most strongest vampire hunter of them all.

"It's Akatsuki dono." Someone murmuring. The girl stunned seeing the famous vampire hunter aside from her senpai; Kyouhei Katakura.

The young man with an eyepatch whistles, "That's Akatsuki Katakura for you…He is known as the 'dark killer' for the vampires he slaughtered." He smirks deviously. Anna glance at him, " Dark killer?" she repeated.

He nodded, "Akatsuki-san slaughtered thousands of vampires including civilian vampires. He killed every vampires he meet and instantly killed them without hesitation." He explained but there is a hint of amusement on his voice.

Her eyes widen as to what she have heard from her comrade. She glance at the mysterious man with a frown pitch on her lips, does a cold blooded man ever exist on the Katakura clan?

Unknown to her, Akatsuki staring at with a nonchalant expression, to his point of view; the girl is somehow pretty strong and heard rumours that she is the daughter of the head of the main branch of the Katakura clan.

It finds him intriguing that her presence is here in the 2nd Branch where all the members of the organization are all came from the branch families. He doesn't know why she was here in the first place, but he choose not to know it because he is a type that never buts on other's people's business except when its related to the vampires whom he slaughtered.

Anna felt his gaze on hers and she felt so…nervous. That guy had an intimidating aura that even the other members won't approach him. She stare at those black glove hands, those hands of his that has slaughtered all the vampires mortal or immortal alike.

"Hmm…he seems so scary to me." She thought hard.

The young man with an eyepatch glance at her, "Oi Anna, When are you going to stop staring at him…" he smirked

Anna glared at him, "What did you say?" she growls at the good looking man.

He chuckles, "Because…you look like you're going to ravage him…I know you attracted with his good looks." He showed his evil grin at the angry girl. Suddenly, a strong fist leaned on Kazuhiko's right cheek and he was slam against the wooden wall.

"Baka!" she growled at him angrily. Why is everyone in the clan thought of her as a pervert bitch!

The whole members sweatdrop at the commotion between Anna and Kazuhiko. Somewhere murmuring lover's quarrel and some are just murmured 'idiots' to the two of them.

"Ow Anna! That hurts!" glared Anna angrily. How dare she punched his beautiful face!

Anna scoffed and sent a death glare at him, "It's your fault for being such a pervert! Will you just stop that damn attitude of yours for once!" she growled back at the young man.

Akatsuki however, stare at the two bickering teenagers with a nonchalant expression.

He sighed, "Teenagers, seriously." He muttered under his breathe.

Sian stare at the documents given to him by Jin. He is currently in his study room and it is the only place he has to relax and away from the annoying vampire aristocrats telling him about being the most powerful pureblood whatsoever. To him, it really annoys him being flattered and praised by those filthy aristocrats. He doesn't care every single thing about them.

As he read carefully the document, he glance at his long time companion, "Is this about the compensation in the company?" he asked the young vampire.

Jin smiles, "Yes, the workers are really desperate for the salary and also, the board of directors are eager for your return." He told the young pureblood.

Sian rolled his eyes, those board of directors are another pain to him, he created a manufacturing company for solely helping the civilians have decent job and to earn a living for their families but those stupid directors of the different departments used their power to corrupt the company's income for their own selfish reason. In other words, those income that the company earns are been corrupted away by those greedy board of directors.

He sighed, "Make sure that the salaries are given to all the workers and also, tell those board of directors that if they want me to return in the company then they should do their job or else I'm going to make sure that they will be cried for their lives." He told his long time friend.

Jin smirked widely. "Of course, Sian-sama." He bowed to him and shut the door.

Sian leaned against his chair and shut his soft cerulean eyes.

Akatsuki discuss to them the investigation regarding about the army of vampire breeds are gathering on the northwest valley that is merely inches far away from their headquarters.

"Dammit. So they are ready to attack us here in our base." one of the members exclaimed a bit angry and surprised.

Tsukiko, the chairwoman of the 2nd Branch sighed, "This is a bit troublesome. We have to contact the main branch immediately." She glance at Akatsuki who is beside her. As Anna heard the word, 'main branch' she thought her father, her uncle, her senpai Kyouhei and her cousin, Tsukasa.

She grit her teeth, "No. I shouldn't be thinking of him, right now we have a crisis, those vampires are going to attack this base by any minute now." she thought hardly.

"What are we going to do, chairman!" shouted the few members of the Katakura clan 2nd branch.

Hotaru glance at his mother worriedly, "Kaa-san." He whispered to his mother.

Then, someone raised a hand and all the members turned around and surprised that the cocky and arrogant, Kazuhiko Katakura with an arrogant smirk plastered on his lips.

"Chairman, Will you let me speak?" he asked permission to the chairman of the 2nd Branch. Anna give him what-the-hell-are-you-doing look. She will guess that he will suggest something stupid that others will be fell in danger.

Tsukiko sighed, for once, acknowledged the boy's participation, "Yes you may. Kazuhiko." She told the boy, she's a bit unsure whether what she did is right or wrong.

The young man with an eyepatch stood highly with a pride on his face, "I suggests that maybe we will counterattack them." He suggested.

Silence emerged and then all the members yelled at him, "That is suicide! Do you want us to get killed?" they both said with unison.

"Yeah, Kazu…Our clan members are outnumbered and those vampire breeds might be hundreds or thousands, it's impossible for us to win the battle." added Hotaru, he too, didn't like the idea of his sempai, that was just insane.

Kazuhiko frowns at them, they all negative. How come this will work out?

Anna thought for a while, she thought that Kazuhiko's idea might be impossible but there is a saying 'Best defence, is a good offence' she always used that quote whenever she is in the battlefield.

But…what if they will try and somehow, they will win against those puppet-like vampires?

"I agree with him." she spoke. All of the members except the smirking Kazuhiko and the nonchalant Akatsuki stared at her with disbelief.

"Anna-san." Tsukiko exclaimed. The brunette smirks at them.

"Don't worry, we will win this war against them." She approached them with a determine look on her delicate face, "…Have you forgotten that we are Katakuras we are proud of our bloodline and we have much more advantage than those blood-sucking creatures! Its about time that we show them how powerful we are!" she told them with her great speech.

The members were awe and praised the female elite member, "Anna-dono is right!" They said out loud.

Akatsuki raised a brow at the brunette girl. He heard about her from the other members; the famous Anna Katakura, the daughter of the head of the Katakura clan and one of the youngest elite vampire hunters in the clan.

He approached the girl with a nonchalant expression, "I finally met you at last. Anna Katakura." He spoke calmly. Anna glance at the new comer and narrowed her eyes, "Akatsuki-san, I presume?" she replied, the man nodded firmly.

He spoke, "You are quite bold to convince the clans to attack the vampires but…" he glared at her and she flinch slightly, "…You don't know what they're capable of and don't decide it for yourself to attack them when the other members are injured from the previous battle at the valley." He scolded the girl.

Kazuhiko crossed his arms, as much he hates to admit. He have to agree with Akatsuki. He is most experience to them since he had become a vampire hunter for too long.

"Anna san." Hotaru muttered the older girl's name.

The brunette clenched her fist, "If others won't go then I will face them myself!" She growled at the older man and left the hall.

Tsukiko intervene, "Anna-san!" she was stopped by Akatsuki's hand.

"Leave her." he told the chairman.

She narrowed her eyes, "But those vampires and she will be-" she was cut off at his intense cold atmosphere.

"If she died, then, it's not our problem." He said with a cold voice. Truthfully, he doesn't care about the brunette girl's well being after all, he hates stubborn type.

"Stupid Akatsuki! He is really something and he is just a coward just like everyone else!" She thought angrily at the hallway towards the exit. If everyone doesn't want to fight those monsters then she's the one who will do it.

Behind her was Kenjirou who stare at her with a smirk look, "My, What is your plan? Anna-chan?" he thought amusingly. His blood red eyes lingering on her exit.

To Anna's reckless act, she was greeted by group of level-E vampires at the mountainous area, staring at her with lust and murderous intent. The brunette grit her teeth, she can handle these pest vampire breed without any help to anyone from her clan.

"I am Anna Katakura! I will swear that I'll defeat you all!" she said it out loud with pride. She ran and attack all the vampire breeds with a slashed on her blood coated swords. Shrieks. Howls and Scream echoes around the forests, the cold-blooded vampire hunter mistress exhales deeply as her clothes are stained with fresh blood from the vampire corpses.

She sighs, "Finally. It's over." She sat on the ground and noticed that she has a wound on her right stomach, she wince in pain, fresh blood covered her palm hand. Her eyes widen at the sight of her own blood and fell unconscious.

But unknown to her, a certain pureblood saw everything and approaches her unconscious form with a scowl on his face.
