there is a girl in the sea,
who smells of lavender and rosemary
she walked there today,
and the swells dragged her in.

i sit and wait for her
until it spits her back again.

this girl in the sea,
she told me today,
she loved me.

i can't figure out how
she got swept away
by the sea.

i sit and pick shells, all glittery,
all gold
ivory white,
pearly and old.

there is a girl in the sea,
who smells of lavender and rosemary,
the waves washed her back to me,
all glittery, and cold,

ivory and white,

pearly, and bold.
