"What about this?"

Ryan sighed. I looked over at him. He was sitting on the edge of our bed, staring at me as I destroyed my closet. He raised his eyebrows.

"You look fine, love. You've looked beautiful in every outfit you've tried on."

I didn't pay attention to him and grabbed a red strapless dress. "What about this one?"

Ryan sighed again and stood, coming behind me to wrap his arms around my waist. "What did I just say? Hell, you could be dressed in sweats and a tee shirt and still be the most beautiful thing out there, Katie."

I stared blankly at him. "Ryan, this is a serious thing. We're going to a conference with some of the top anthropologists in North America. I need to look like I know what I'm doing."

Ryan rolled his eyes at me. I looked at him helplessly. "Babe, I mean it! I need to look right! It doesn't matter what you wear because you're a man and men generally only wear suits! I need to wear a dress, but it can't be super revealing or too long or whatever and I have no idea!"

He sighed and looked at me, placing a finger gently against my lips. "Shh." He said, before leaning down to kiss me. I reluctantly kissed back, wishing he would hurry and get to the point so I could pick out something to wear. When he'd pulled back, he reached around me and grabbed something from my closet.

"Here."

I looked at the dress he'd chosen. It was hyacinth blue, tight to the chest at the top, and loose towards the knees. It stopped just under the knee caps. Sparkles dotted the dress in random places, and shimmered more and more towards the bottom of the fabric.

"Put it on," Ryan whispered against my jaw, "You'll wow them."

I kissed Ryan's cheek. "I love you."

So for you guys who didn't read the summary, this story is going to contain every one shot, deleted scene, vignette, etc, that was ever written in the Katie/Ryan series! Everything saved on my computer that was written for them will be posted in here.

This particular one shot was written while I was working on chapter 5 or Weightless, in late October. It's nothing special, really, just something that was clawing at the back of my mind. Enjoy, and review!
