So many voices crying out
So many people wonder what it's about
For it's hard for one to understand
Unless they've lived though depression's cruel land

It's easy to pretend it's fake
That happiness is something you can simply make
But sometimes that isn't enough
They're drowning in seas far too rough

Even if you don't know why
That isn't any reason to let them die
Don't you care if it's family or friend
Will that convince you to not pretend

For these voices crying out
Need your help without a doubt
Simply by letting them know
That someone cares enough to show
