Gray Wolf
Snow glistens
like miniature crystals,
as Gray Wolf and his pack
search for food
in the wintery forest.
Along the way mystical and magical
radiant ravens fly
above the ravenous wolves' frigid
snow-covered fur, guiding
them deeper
into the white covered
forest, seeking some prey.
Suddenly,
wolf ears perk to the sounds
of ravens squawking and
wolf noses
point to the air where the
ravens are circling.
Grey Wolf leads
the charge, ferrociously attacking a
lone deer, who soon succombs
to their chase.
After the woves have gleaned
their meal, the ravens feast
on what's left.
Wolf and raven bonded
in survival, friendship, brotherhood, and skill.
