Does it Matter?
Does it matter?
The sins and the good deeds and the luxuries?
Does faith and belief and righteousness matter?
If I were to a meet my maker,
Whether it is the one I believed in or not,
Would it matter if I had been true?
Would it matter if I was a sinner,
A lover, a fighter, a teacher, a rebel?
If so, then Maker, I would like to say
I have been all of these things
And I am not ashamed.
