Really exactly what usually happens. Also I question my cat's sense of survival sometimes staying outside while it pours!
My little home
Lies on these tumbleling hills
Drenched once more
With fog and rain
Once more again
-
Waking up to
Dawn's early light
And last night's cold
Blending in with
The gentle morning breeze
-
The smell of rain
Fresh on our grass
And twice unfortunately
On our cats
-
Clouds roll across
The seemingly sad
And gray sky
-
Chased on
By the rays of the sun
Then fighting furiously
To dominate our morning roof
-
Once more
My hometown
Of Seattle
Is waking up again
