A+  A-   Full 3/4 1/2 Expand Tighten

Day/time- 2012, Tuesday 2nd October, 9:25 am.
Location-
The usual chair. It occurs to me that it's a pretty stuffed up chair.
Mood-
My knee hurts.
Event-
Well, not my knee exactly, but the surrounding knee area.
Listening to-
Keyboard abuse. My sister regularly tells me off for killing it. She says it's completely unnecessary, but I know better. (If I don't hit hard enough, sometimes the letters don't show up.)
Reading-
I have no books (sad face), but we're going to the library today and first, I will pay off my fines (I'll get to this later), and then I will pick up a book I put on hold using my sister's card because my card is blocked because of fines. I don't know which book it is (the library website's down! NOOOOOO!), but I think it's The Iron King (Julie Kagawa). It's definitely not Zombies vs. Unicorns because someone else already has it loaned out.
As for the fines, we're charged 25 cents for every day a book is late. (My record was like, 26 dollars.) Apparently I had three books that were handed in a week late (but I KNOW that I returned them on time), which totalled to $5.25, and one of my little sister's books (25 cents). Except I deserve this because I realised that if you keep your fines low and don't pay them for months, they disappear. Which means I didn't pay off a few fines. So have to pay.
Word of the day-
'Acronym', which is a word formed with initials, like 'LASER', or 'NYLON', or (God forbid) 'LOL'. Not to be confused with 'initialism', which requires you saying the words individually, for example, 'OMG' or 'DFTBA'.
Writing-
This story (long story with how I got the idea) in which two average girls are teleported to a world of Mary-Sues and Gary-Stus. If you don't know of these, they're the fictional characters who are perfect in every possible way, and if they have faults they're endearing, glossed over, or very few.
Random thing1-
We have this four-minute hourglass which is right next to me and sometimes the sand just stops flowing. It's really annoying when you're trying to time four minutes and you end up with some frozen-in-time sand-stopped-flowing. I've decided to let a similar hourglass make an appearance in a new story I'm working on.
Random thing 2-
Y'all know how I tell you guys pretty much everything except my age, well I forgot to tell you (and forgot myself) that my cousin's getting married next week. NEXT WEEK. Like, THE WEEK AFTER THIS ONE. And if you're wondering why I forgot, she's half way across the world so we can't come. I realise that sounds like a b-tard thing to say, but yeah. And she's the same cousin who co-wrote 'Mr. Foolish's Foolish Adventures'.
Random thing 3-
Which also means that the day before, my youngest cousin will be having his first birthday. :3
