I'm not ready for all that's lying in my lap

I can't do this, it's just too much

How do I become something?

When I don't even know what's out there

There are so many things to learn

How could I possibly choose?

Nothing every called to me

I don't have generations of firefighters

Waiting for me to continue their legacy

I have me…. And I don't really even understand that?
