This is a short story I wrote for my teacher in the 5th grade. I based it loosely on a prank my principal had my class pull on the teacher one day. I corrected some minor grammatical issues before posting. Please review.

Chapter 1 - Where's My Class?
One morning at King Elementary School in Dale City, Virginia, something weird happened in Room 30. Mr. Whitten's class of fifth graders went missing.
"Where'd my class go?" said Mr. Whitten as Morning Announcements showed up on TV.
Usually they'd be here by now, unless they were absent or tardy. Mr. Whitten wondered what happened to his class. What happened to them? Where are they? Had they been kidnapped? Who could have kidnapped them? How could they've gone somewhere? When could they've left? Why aren't they here? Is this a prank?!?
