What should I do
to forget you -
you're on my mind every day.

No matter my actions,
you're always a distraction -
it always seems you're in the way.

No matter how I try,
I just can't realize
that there's more to life
than the butterflies I get
when I see you.
I just can't.

So I carry on
with this burden
of regret I'll never lose.

I'm not strong enough to forget you.
