Darkness Untamed

There is a darkness
that festers in all of us
it feeds on anger and hatred
sorrow and madness

Its kept inside
hiding from all
locked away in the deepness
of our soul

A pain that hurts
beyond that of reality
bones all broken
and a heart full of tears

A rage that's no longer oppressed
burning and clawing inside
a wild beast gone untamed
full of an uncontrollable power

An unnoticed darkness
that is kept within
needs to be subdued
by the light
