Reign
Author:

A poem about information overload, getting stuck in your own views, having those great moments when another person's keen insight opens your perspective. Also playing with the English language and how fluid it is and full of multiple meanings.

Reign

Rain in me overshadow acuminous clouds;
the sound your voice white noise drowned out;
rein in me, reign, rain change in me
the directions, the thoughts, the weather, the water to the ground

soak in, cleanse
this dust--begin to understand
amongst the millions of drops
of rain, reign, rein in me;

for you i cup my palms
and drink.
