Faeries in the Ferns

Faeries flitting to and fro,

frolicking through their magikal land.

Settling here, settling there,

transporting seeds from one thing to another.

A drop of dew, a touch of fairy dust

whipping up a little breeze,

giving Mother Nature a helping hand.

Take the majesty of the fern

requiring the nectar of the Gods

to promote its growth,

in return it sprouts from its crown

the most glorious fronds

that withstand the elements giving mystery

and beauty to the lower realms of our forests.

The ferns serve as a playground for the faeries

as they flutter around

trying to catch flickers of sunlight

which glistens through

from between the tallest trees

in the upper realms of our wondrous forests.
