We will miss you, Always; it read
Condolences are often cookie-cutter
in their eloquence. Not nearly euphoric
so much as epidemic to the moment
where I, a daughter, sit at the edge of
the couch with he, the father, and listen
to him purchase a bouquet of flowers over
the phone, the card of which will read:
We will miss you, Always,
love
us.
