We speak of lofty topics

Like life, like meaning,

Make great exaggerations

With our reason screaming.

The world is a large place

We make it small,

Standing with our windy words

We seem so tall.

But we are all just people,

We cannot know

Beyond our little humble selves

How things will go.

We only can find reason

That's for ourselves

Because we're blind to the theories

Of anyone else.
