Freedom, O Egyptians!

By: Muhammad Syarif Fadhlurrahman

Alexandria drowns in cheers, and triumphant waving flags,

Ismailiyya's frown turns into smile, showing brilliant teeth,

Cairo bathes in a sea of joy, and fireworks grace the sky,

The pyramids, vestiges of despots ancient, witnesses

The overthrowing of the modern Pharaoh,

Freedom! Freedom, Oh Egyptians!

7urriyah! 7urriyah, yaa ma9riyyeen!

Now, march forth into the future, emboldened!

Hard work and struggle awaits yee in front

Welcome them with full hope for your prosperity and freedom!
