Summer Rain
Author:

I think summer rain is pretty cool, and it just washes away all your troubles and lets you see the glowing rainbow of your joy afterwards D

Summer rain falling through the skies

Making it seem as if you're underwater

Makes existence fall away, drop by drop

So you run, lest you lose yourself

But meet more rain, now gasping for air

And stop, letting yourself fade away again

Slowly you see, reflected in the drops

What you thought lost to eternity-

The you that you were in the past,

And the you that you still are now

Because the rain is not banishment nor a malicious blackhole

It is healing and the long forgotten sense of letting go…
