If I were a star,

I wouldn't be.

I'd be a black hole,

stealing all the light.

But I'd be just as sad with all that light within,

a solemn, lonely zombie of something bright.

I'd miss the sun,

I'd miss the warmth.

But I know I'd get used to it,

the icy dark, void of color.

But now,

the light has returned,

the light has rejoiced,

I am encased in warmth.

I am a white hole today.
