"There are many expressions human portray on their faces, you know. Frowns, tears, widened eyes, hanging jaws. Most curious of all, however must be smiles. You see, though smiles are often seen as a sign of happiness, there are those who smile when sad. When hurt. When, nothing matters anymore.
Eyes are also quite fascinating feature as well. Unlike popular use in the world of fiction, eyes can lie. Eyes do lie. But it is more common not to. They are often glistening when happy and red when crying. Blank, times to times when numb.
That was what got me worried."
"Why?"
"Because you are smiling."
"Doesn't that mean I am happy?"
"Are you?"
"I don't know."
"What do you know?
"I... don't know."
"You are crying, love."
"You said I was smiling."
"You are."
"I think I know."
"Know what?"
"I am numb"
"I know."
"I feel funny."
"How?"
"Like, as if there is this kinda hole in middle of my chest.
It hurts.
It hurts really bad Ethan.
It's really painful.
But I feel numb at the sametime.
Ethan?"
"Yes?"
"Have I gone crazy? Mad? Insane as hatter?"
"I don't ... know."
"Ethan?"
"...Yes?"
"Why are you hugging me? Cradling me like a child?"
"Because you may be physically bigger then me, love, but this is what you need."
"Oh. Ethan?"
"Yeah?"
"Why are you crying?"
"Because......"
"Because...?
Ethan?
Eeethan?
Why are you crying, Ethan?"
