Saving You
Author:
Luna Carn PM
Well, I see you've gone and lost yourself again/ Are you still trying to run from that ghost in your head?/ Honestly I wonder why I haven't left/ I keep trying to save you when you're so hopeless.

Saving You

The demon in you isn't lacking in stealth

I swear loving you is bad for my health

We can never ignore the things that we see

They're always in front of you and me

Don't you know that I am all you own?

Your so-called friends all left long ago

They just couldn't handle you anymore

And honestly I also feel pretty worn

But don't you start to worry about me

I already know that I can't and won't leave

Sometimes when I lie awake at night

I wonder why I'm still at your side

I could run from you so easily

But I can't let you escape from me

Every path you take; every move you make

I've memorized since I know what's at stake

Always I'm following you around

Always I am chasing you down

Whenever you start to lose your grip

I know I'll catch you before you slip

I've made our lives so deeply entwined

That's why I can't let you lose your mind

Much as it pains me I won't withdraw my help

I need to keep saving you from yourself
