It Started at a Concert...
By: Lain Alastair
1. It starts with a look
I hate concerts!
Stacy knows that, everybody knows that!
"Wow," I say in a sarcastic tone. "Thanks for the heads up, babe!" She gave me a quizzical look then rolled her hazel eyes. So why am I standing at the center of a raging mosh pit trying not to lose sight of my girlfriend?!
"I can't freakin' breath!" I yell tightening my grip on her arm. Raging bodies crashed into one another while others screamed lyrics into the direction of the stage. My eyes remained on the back of Stacy's red head, she pulled me forward as we attempted to step through the muddy field. On a typical day I'd usually plan where we'd go on our dates but today Stacy insisted on choosing.
"I should of known you'd do this!" I holler as an opening to a more controlled crowd came into sight. I could barely speak, it completely blew my mind that the girl I've been with since ninth grade, and the only girl I've ever been with can't remember that I hate concerts.
"I just wanted to have a good time!" She broke free of my grip.
"You know I don't like concerts!" I holler. "Why would you bring me to this stupid place," I lowered my voice feeling a few bystanders starting to watch.
She crosses her arms, "you don't have to keep reminding me, I just wanted to see one band; Mr. Eclipse." I deeply exhaled just as another round of loud roars erupted from the pit.
"When do they play?" I ask.
"An hour," she grumbles.
"An hour," I repeat, "you expect me to stay here for another hour just to see a stupid band that I've never even heard of!"
"Fine!" She snaps, "why don't you wait in the car, some are my friends are here anyways!"
"Whatever," I growl before stomping into the direction of the parking lot. Ever since I came back from school we've argued about almost everything, from who drives to who pays.
"It's starting to get ridiculous," I mumble as the sad excuse for a parking lot came into view. "Who builds a stage in the middle of nowhere." The concert grounds are literally located on the top of cornfields, which is at the outskirts of my hometown.
A few people gave me strange looks as I angerily marched past them but I continued to the car and ignored the looks. It's like they've never seen an angry boyfriend before! I let out a sigh of relief upon reaching the vehicle, I couldn't even bring myself to look back at the stage.
Maybe this whole relationship is about to explode, I think placing my hand against the door handle. This isn't nineth grade anymore, we're almost twenty.
"I don't feel excited being with her, what's wrong with me..." The loud noise of an engine suddenly caught my attention, I looked up to see a tour bus parking a few feet away. The name MR. ECLIPSE covered the side of the bus in huge red and black letters.
"It's her band," I mumble. I wonder if they're on tour? I stepped closer to get a better look. Nobody is around them yet, I should get an autograph for Stacy so we can forget this whole mess.
Without a second thought I hurried into the direction of the tour bus which parked the furthiest away from the crowd.
"Should I just knock on the door?" Finally reaching the bus I exhaled silently. They might be those cocky musician types but I have to get those autographs. Hearing another song starting from the band playing yards away I snuck behind the bus to get to the other side when two male figures came into view.
"...Twins," I whisper from the rear of the bus. Aside from the styling of their hair they were identical; from the russet skin, to the electric green eyes, and even their tall builds.
"Tommy, right now?" One spoke his black hair hung messily across his head, he wore a blue hoodie and jeans. The other more stylish wore a clean cut black and white suit with a red tie, his hair seemed to be an exaggerated version of the Elvis hairstyle. Tommy wrapped his arms around his twin's waist and pulled their bodies together until no space was between. I brought my hand up to my lips in shock.
They're twins brothers they can't be...
To my complete horror the stylish one; Tommy placed his hand behind his brother's head and they hungerily crashed their lips together.
They can't be kissing, they just can't be!
"Spenser," Tommy lifted from the kiss, "do you still want to be the Alpha?"
Alpha... What are they talking about?
The other one didn't answer instead he pressed his lips back into his brothers.
"That's so fucking disgusting!" I blurted on impulse. They quickly stopped and looked in my direction.
"Shit!" Spenser yells. Just as my legs begun to move I felt a strong hand grab hold of my shoulder and squeeze.
"Owwww!" I groan as the pain seemed to rocket throughout my body. How'd he get over here so fast?!
"Spenser, bring him over here," Tommy orders. Spenser easily pushed me infront of him until I was at the same spot they were kissing at.
"Get on the fucking ground!" He grumbles. My lips quivered with fear and I hurried onto the sticky grass.
"The fuck did you see?" Tommy spats.
"Nothing," I answer in a squeaky tone. They begun to prance around me like lions about to pounce on their prey.
"No, the question is what the fuck did you hear?" Spenser snarls.
"I won't tell anybody what I saw or heard, please just let me go," I beg keeping any eye contact at a minimum.
"Tommy, I know what we should do," Spenser snickers.
Tommy nods, "oh, yeah, we should." I grab a handfull of dirt as my heart seemed to be kicking my chest. Why am I so scared, what are they going to do to me?!
